I have always had an interest in how things work. I chose medical research because I saw an opportunity to learn so much and also help people who are very sick.

It is a rewarding job. I am a lecturer so I spend lots of my time teaching which is fun. Especially when the students come back a few years later and tell me they have worked on a new medicine or something.

No. I wanted to be an architect first. I’m really glad I chose science in the end, though. It keeps me interested and is very rewarding.
