• Question: whell we ever be able to bring extinct animals back e.g dinosaurs

      If we have all the DNA for that organism and the DNA is in good condition, than it could theoretically be done. One cell holds all the DNA so you wouldn’t need much tissue. I fear that going back to the dinosaurs would just be too difficult.

      It may be possible, and for some recently extinct animals it will be easier, due to similarities between them and other species. The problem will be after cloning, when the embryo will need to implanted into a surrogate mother. The mother will then need to produce dinosaur-size eggs!

      Sean and Lena are right. Did you know some scientists have already tried to clone a wooly mamouth?
