• Question: what particle is faster than the speed of light?

      There is no particle faster than the speed of light – but in Quantum Theory there are some particles theoretically faster than light. Don’t ask me to tell you about Quantum Theory, though…

      I think the scientists have just confirmed that the neutrinos that were previously measured faster than the speed of light, were actually slower than measured. This was probably due to computer error in calculating such high speeds.

      A tachyonic particle is a hypothetical particle that always moves faster than light. Until recently, no compelling evidence for their existence had been found.
