      the smallest atom anywhere is hydrogen with one proton and one electron. Hydrogen is the most common element, and is present in every cell of your body as part of water (H2O).

      Water makes up up to about 75 % of your body. Hydrogen makes up about 10 % of your body weight – that’s a lot of hydrogen atoms considering how light they are!
