      It feels good to inspire others and teach students how to make medicines. I also am proud of my research team as they find out new things all the time.

      I enjoy helping students develop the skills and interest to ask good questions and then find out ways to discover the answers. That is what being a scientist is all about.

      It’s really rewarding to see a student you’ve helped out become independent and develop their own ideas and work. And you also learn a lot from helping others.
