      That is hard to answer! Very few discoveries actually change the way we live each day of our life.
      I do think Darwin was brave as he dared to publish his work even though it was not in agreement with what people thought at the time.

      I think that the best treatment I have helped develop is a cell therapy for babies that are born premature. When babies are born very early they have to be put on a ventilator to help them breathe. However, this can cause lung injury, which makes the baby sick even when they have grown up. We isolated stem cells from the babies placenta after they are born, and when we give the stem cells to the baby, we prevent the lung injury from happening. This is in clinical trials at the moment, so I hope it will one day help many babies stay healthy.
