We should use our resources efficiently (such as water, energy and the environment) and recycle our waste. This is a great way the London Olympics will try and recycle our waste energy.

I agree with Sean. Use less, recycle EVERYTHING and put money in to develop alternatives to things like fossil fuels. My boss works on a new type of nuclear energy with thorium so there are no nasty side effects, lets hope it gets used!

I definitely agree with the others.

The Earth is in a bad way due to pollution from fossil fuels, the over-use of water and the amount of waste we put into landfill. We have a tendency to go for the quick and cheap short-term option rather than invest into long-term solutions. We need to recycle more in order to reduce waste, and try to use less water.

We also need to invest into new efficient energy sources. Projects like JET (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joint_European_Torus) and ITER (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ITER) are trying to harvest energy from nuclear fusion of water molecules. If they pull it off we’ll never need to worry about our energy supply again.
