• Question: Is there anything inside a proton/neutron?

      Both protons and neutrons are hadrons and are made up of quarks. Quarks are elementary particles that constitute matter. A proton is made up of two up quarks and one down quark. A neutron is made up of one up quark and two down quarks. Up quarks are the lightest of all quarks and down quarks are the second lightest. There are also strange (!), charm (!), bottom and top quarks.

      I had a dog and called it quark. He was from a rescue home and bit me a lot!
