• Question: Is it true that bees will only cross water using a bridge even though they can fly?

      I don’t think this is true. I can’t see why a bee couldn’t fly over water. I’m sure I’ve seen them do it…

      Perhaps they will only cross small bodies of water to ensure they can make it back to land.

      Hmmmm. If a bee would not cross water they would not travel far from home! They must have a size limit, so perhaps a puddle is alright but a lake is not.
