Good question. I believe it is possible. We can produce enough food and water for everyone. However access to these is often limited by war and conflict. I believe if we are able to provide a good education to everyone this will allow everyone to end world poverty themselves.

I agree. There was a great article in a science magazine this week about how we are spending loads of money trying to treat obesity and not enough on making sure the rest of the world has enough to eat and drink. It seems wrong that some are eating too much and yet others have nothing to eat!

Poverty isn’t just about hunger there are many other factors that contribute to a low quality of life. Infrastructure is crucial to any good society.
