      No. We do not want to, or are we allowed to perform any experiments that involve animal cruelty. All of our experiments must meet very strict regulations regarding animal care and use, and we need to prove to an oversight committee that we have tried to reduce the number of animals to be used; replace animal models with other methods whenever possible; and refine techniques to minimize distress to animals used in research.
