      They would react together and you’d get a potassium salt and hydrogen. For example with sulphuric acid, you’d get potassium sulphate and with hydrochloric acid you’d get potassium chloride.

      Potassium can react with hydrochloric acid violently to form Potassium Chloride and hydrogen.
