• Question: I am very interested in your work what you do could you come up with any practicals a year7 class could do based on circuits?

      I’m afraid I don’t do much with circuits… Sorry. The only think I can think of is the circuit created when we use electricity to move DNA through a gel – gel electrophoresis.

      I swopped a standard light fitting in my bedroom for one that comes on when you whistle or clap your hands, ask if you can do that, it is fun!

      How about the Drawdio? Basically it’s an astable 555 that makes a noises with pitch proportional to how long they draw pencil marks. (it’s a bit hard to explain quickly, just try the video on that website)
