1 Question: how much sleep does a child require a night? Keywords: night, sleep Asked by heyhaybrandon98 to Asif, Laura, Lena, Sean, Viv on 19 Mar 2012.
Lena Ciric answered on 19 Mar 2012:
This depends on their age. Babies need 12-18 hours (!!!); toddlers need 12 – 14 hours; school children need 10 – 11 hours; and teens need 8.5 – 10 hours a night. Adults need 7.5 – 9 hours. So, you lot really do need your lie-ins. 😉
Sean Murphy answered on 19 Mar 2012:
Lena is correct. Although I never get more than 6 hours of sleep! I suppose that’s where we get the saying ‘sleep like a baby’.

For ten tors you need only 6 hours, why is this?
