• Question: Even though you are scientists, do any of you NOT believe that the universe was created by 'The Big Bang' and do you believe in evolution ?

      There are scientists out there that don’t believe the Big Bang happened or in evolution.

      I definitely believe in evolution – the proof is all around us. I also think that it’s very likely that the Big Bang did happen. There is a fair amount of proof to support the theory.

      I agree with Lena, it is still a theory but the is a lot of evidence which supports the idea.

      We do not really know how the universe began. The big bang really describes everything that has occurred since just after the beginning. As we look back close and closer to the beginning, it becomes very difficult to understand what happened. Perhaps one day we will solve this problem.

      I have no doubt in evolution and I’d like to believe in the big bang but there are still so many questions about it. We have a lot to learn about this world, I hope you become a scientist and try and figure it all out!
