I think it is a good idea, too. Ultimately we want a happy healthy population. We have huge waiting lists for organs in this country and it seems cruel to deny people lab grown organs if we have the technology to make them. As for robots, I see no reason why we shouldn’t use them where we can. There are some jobs that robots can do better as they don’t make mistakes. The only issue I can think of is that the use of robots can result in less need of a work force, which could result in unemployment.
The population is continually climbing, if we continue to create new methods of keeping people alive for longer and curing diseases then we will have to find some way of controlling population growth. We could end up with a serious ethical dilemma with many of the alternatives having unforseen side affects. In China couples are only aloud one child but this has caused higher obesity levels and the children are becoming more spoilt.
