I don’t believe in god, Rusty. I never have. It makes no sense to me.

      Hi Rusty

No I don’t believe in god. Nobody can say with any proof that he does or does not exist, it can’t be proved either way and both would mean a leap of faith.
I do however strongly believe that everyone has a right to their beliefs as long as they don’t force them on anyone else.

Hi Rusty…Nice Chat today….This is a very good question…..Actually We dont have any tools to measure God cz scientfically we are not that developed yet….But There are many things that do indicate the presence of a superior being…..The Big Bang Theory which explains the creation of the universe from nothing indicates the creater….The Stable Environment of the Earth for such a long time, The Way Our body works…The way thousands of enzymes in each cell functioning in such an organized fashion…The Extreme data stored in the DNA that would need no external help to work, copy itself and produce useful substances needed in the body…..The efficieny with with which DNA works is thousands times more than any human industry made gadget…As Otherwise there would be no normal human or animal in the world….The self sustained energy utilizing ability of the cell….All indicate a superior programmer….A car cannot work for long without repair…..A company cannot exist for long without a proper organising and controling board…..Then How can a cell, a human body, the Earth, and the whole universe go on functioning so efficiently on its own? Why are the laws of physics constant? Could we think of this universe without constant laws? Who made them constant? Every natural system has the ability to go from the orderly state to a disordered state in an isolated system (entropy)….In this case the earth should have been worse with the passage of time and would never lived so long to give birth to life….It means that its not an isolated system at all….There is someone who is controlling it……
We have got limited senses and abilities….and everybody is free to believe whatever he or she thinks is right….But i feel it non sense to say that the whole universe is an accident, and the Earth and the life on it is by chance. Do you think an iphone can be created on its own?? or a car be made without any factory/workers? if not, how can you say a complicated human body, a complicated cell, the earth and the universe can be made on their own??? We can simply say that like many other aspects of life, science is deficient here as well…..

No I don’t believe in god. I think it is dangerous to assume that because we don’t understand something that there must be a magical person in the sky controlling everything. It is this sort of thinking that will limit our understanding of the universe, not expand it. Many people believed that the big bang must be caused by god, because there was not other explanation, but now science has produced explanations that suggest that the force of gravity could have caused the big bang, without the existence of a “creator”. I have faith, but it is faith that science can help us understand the universe and ourselves.

I’d like to as the other option (that we are all an accident) is a bit sad to imagine.
