• Question: Could people survive on any other planet except earth ?

      It is possible, but at the moment we would need to transport all of the food, water and energy from earth. This would cost too much money. Hopefully we will find ways to generate all of these things while on the other planet.

      If other planets had their own supply of these, especially water, it would make things a lot easier.

      Mars is probably the best candidate as an alternative home for us. It has an atmosphere (although it’s thinner than ours) and ice has been found there confirming the presence of water. However, it’s very cold (between -60 to -140 degrees C) and gravity is much less than on Earth. It would be hard work living there!

      We could if we spent enough money supporting the project but I don’t think we have enough cash spare at the moment. I hope we do continue to explore space though as we learn a lot from it.
