• Question: Can you interbreed different types of animals such as a rabbit and a bird? Or can this only be done with similar types and breeds of animals?

      I can’t imagine this would ever work for a whole load of reasons.
      Colchester Zoo has some zebra-donkey animals they call zeedonks!

      You can do it with come closely related species. Mules and asses are the result of interbreeding of a horse and a donkey. Most of the offspring are sterile though, which means they can’t reproduce.

      Generally different species cannot mate and reproduce because of genetic differences.
