• Question: Can you freeze someone and bring them back to life?

      Not yet but lots of people have paid to be frozen in case we figure out how to do it. There is a myth that Walt Disney was frozen but when he died they hadn’t started doing it!

      Not as far as I know. Freezing and defrosting a body would burst a lot of your cells. I think a better way to do it would be to clone your DNA and make a new being.

      During IVF treatments human embryos are frozen, to be implanted into the mother at a later date. So far this is only successful with tiny embryos, it gets very difficult the larger you get. It is possible to freeze your stem cells, many people do this just in case they have health problems in the future.
