Well… I’m quite diplomatic and organised which are attributes of a good team leader. The important thing is to listen to others and make sure that they listen to you.

As for subjects – it’s a long time since I was in school, but I did really enjoy both art, music and English, as well as the subjects you’d expect (maths, chemistry and biology – geek, I know).

I certainly know that I work well within a team and like working with other people. The use of science in the real world is all about using the knowledge of everyone around you. As far as team leader is concerned nobody else has complained (yet). On a more serious note the extension of my previous comment is that you need to learn how to get the best out of everyone and I try and do that as much as possible.

At school I was good at English and I still enjoy more artistic subjects. It’s nice to have a break from science sometimes.

As far as i understand, A good team leader should be
      1. Able to identify his goals and the problems associated in achieving them.
      2. He should also know the capabilites of each member of his team and should assign work to each member work according to their capabilities.
      3. Should encourage everybody even if they fail to produce the desired result…..Thats my understandings and thats what i do whenever i face a challenging situation

Yup … I like Arts especially i love History…..I Like to Paint and take artistic snapshots….I always like to learn the secrets of success of Great Leaders and achievers…..

I work very well in a team. Working in a team is very important because one person cannot be an expert in everything, so it takes a team of experts to be able to create something like a skin printer. We have engineers, IT people, veterinarians and cell biologists all working together to make this idea work. Being a good leader is less about telling people what to do, and more about recognizing people’s talents and encouraging them to make them most of them.

I never really liked music while i was at school, but now I have lots of fun playing guitar in a band, so I wish I had spent more time playing music in school.

Perhaps you should ask my research team! I think I am good, they all have my mobile number so they can contact me anytime about anything which is important to me.
I like music, I play the saxophone. Plus I like animals a lot too in case you couldn’t tell!
