This may not be the sort of answer you were expecting, but I think the most dangerous thing in science is if we think we know everything. As I learn more about the world one thing I realize is how little we actually know. If we think that we already know everything then we will be unable to learn more about ourselves and the universe.
I think it must be working with radioactive materials – they’re really dangerous. I also think working in nuclear physics labs is pretty dangerous because of the massive amounts of energy that are used to do the experiments. And then there is working with deadly organisms like ebola virus and anthrax…
I think the most dangerous thing can be our misuse of science. There are some things that should be morally thought about. Personally I think stem cell research is a great thing that could have many benefits but nuclear weapons could destroy our world.
